About this catalog

everycouchever.com is an attempt to catalog every couch currently for sale. The first pass collected 1173 couches from 20 retailersand 151 brands — IKEA, Article, West Elm, CB2, Wayfair, Crate & Barrel, Burrow, Floyd, Albany Park, Interior Define, Joybird, Costco, Walmart, and more.

How the data was gathered

Two passes, both on October 1, 2026: product-catalog search across eight query batches, plus live-browser sweeps of individual retailer sites. Each record was normalized (deduped, classified by type / style / color) and enriched with dimensions, ratings, and stock flags where published.

The honest caveats

• It's a snapshot. Prices and availability change; always verify on the retailer's site.
• "Every" is aspirational. 1173 couches is a lot, but not literally every couch ever. Yet.
• Dimensions are patchy. About 28% of couches publish width/depth — the rest show "dims not listed".
• Costco & Walmart blocked automated stock checks, so most of their listings are flagged unverified.
• Amazon contributed nothing (explicit bot block); Room & Board and a few others resisted too.
